I have met Montemayor a couple of times. Have seen where there has been some drug busts made lately. I don't know Cole. What can someone tell me about him? What is his background? We need an aggresive sheriff's department. There seems to be alot of crime in this county that goes unattended.

My vote is for Cole. Ralph is tied to the Evans and it's time for everything they are connected to to be gone.

Drive by DWs bar on 356 and read the sign! Fund raiser for Ralph at a bar! Does this mean if you go to DWs bar your safe from going to jail? Not a quality I want in a Sheriff. We are going backwards in this county!

Ralph is not tied to Evans or to Dean, That's why so much neg. talk about him, No one controls him. He is his own Man and answers to Himself and nobody else. He has my vote and many, many others. PBJ, that must stand for peanut butter and jelly, what ya think?

I don't think this is a bit funny and I will not vote for either of your drinking buddies for this very reason! Being a bar owner and a Justice of the Peace is a huge conflict of interest. I might consider voting for her if she sells the bar before the election date. As for the current appointed Sheriff, I do not think he has the experience as a leader to be the head honcho of all law enforcment activities.

NOTE: If it's in a bar it's connected to Dean.

I guess you need to do some research. Ralph sure as hell was not elected by anyone in this county. Evans and his bunch of cronies appointed him to that office. But you are kinda right in a way, he sure doesn't answer to nobody else!! Come election time he will answer to a whole lot of people!!!!!(not just three) The PBJ probably stands for "People Bring Justice"??

Someone told me that Ralph Montemayor is being investigated by the Texas rangers for official opression. Can someone tell me if this is true or is it just a rumor?

Mark Cole is a state licensed Peace Officer, holding a Master Peace Officer Certificate. He has 28 years as a TEXAS Peace Officer. He has 15 years as a State of Texas Criminal Investigator and 5 years Management and Supervision. He also has 8 years as a Patrolman. You will find Professionalism, integrity, and accountability from Mark Cole in the Trinity County Sheriff's Department. He has been employed for the last 15 years by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Criminal Investigator with the Office of the Inspector General. Seems to me that only one candidate has the qualifications to be the Trinity County Sheriff--MARK COLE is the one.

This is a wonderful example of how to promote and support your preferred candidate.

And this is a wonderful example of a person that uses sarcasm to slam a person that has a preference that is not shared by their own. We all know you promote Ralph and killing babies in a drunk driving accident. But hey, that's your preference. Enjoy your small mind. Cole will be my vote, I'm tired of the good ole' boy system and having Trinity County be a "drunk driving haven" for the surrounding counties. I get tired of hearing, "Don't drink and drive in Walker of Angelina County, they'll get you. Go to Trinity County, they don't care". If this is what you support and you hate babies, then Ralph is your man. "Twig Pig for Sheriff"!!!!!!

"Temlep", excellent piece on Mark Cole. Thanks for the input.
He certainly has the credentials, and I feel he is the right one for the job as our new Trinity County Sheriff. He's got my vote!

Montemeyer has never bothered to even visit our subdivision - guess he is too busy spending time on the golf course, from what I hear, or doing a fundraiser at a bar. He is supposed to be working for us, the people of Trinity County - we pay his salary.
