Langston is a joke

Fired from Central Oklahoma, for multiple NCAA Violations and the University was place on 3 years probation following his firing. UCO President said "after an internal investigation by the University that during Langston's tenure he (Langston) had failed to exercise institutional control and monitor the administration of it's own football program."

No control over his athletic programs, and no more than five wins over any one of his last three seasons.

Got fired in less than a semester from a 2A head coach job at Trinity High School - a large step down from his prior University job that he, um, got fired from as well.

Langston is a good Christian man. If you have questions about his prior coaching experiences, ASK HIM. Althought I am sure you would rather bash people. Trinity has problems with coaches because the administration will not stand behind student discipline. Get a administration witha backbone and you will see a difference.

Langston is a loser and always will be. Being a Christian does not make him a good coach any more than standing in a garage make you a car!!

To 'the fighter' the idiots from Trinity on this board from Trinity complain about everything and their opinions don't matter. Coach Langston will be a great benefit to toe Lamar program. People that know him and know what he tried to do in Trinity were very sorry to see him go. The others are Trinity people who think they know everything and know nothing.

Best wishes to Coach Langston and his family. The people that knew you the person that you are will miss you. It is so sad that there are such ugly people in this world that don't have better things to do but get on this site and put people down. What sad lives they must lead.

Eric, For goodness sake, Give it a rest! The only reason you hate Coach Langston so much is because he beat you out of a job. Why are you so obsessed with him? That's just not normal, son. You spend so much time and energy thinking about him, posting about him, etc., and it has no effect on him at all. He probably doesn't even know anyone is saying anything, and if he did know, he wouldn't care. But you on the other hand, you're caught up in a vicious cycle of hate. And if you don't let go of all that hatred, bitterness and resentment, it's going to end up destroying you and your family. Do yourself a favor and direct your energy toward something that God will bless you for, because right now, your hindering your testimony and your blessings. You need to let Coach Langston and his family move on in peace, and then you and your family need to do the same. It's time to let it go.

I never met Langston, but even I know the score, since I can use Google:

Fired from UCO, and college ball, for NCAA rule violations that UCO admitted he committed. UCO on 3 year probation as a result.

His final 3 years at UCO = no more than 5 wins per year

His time at Groveton = again no more than 5 wins per year

His time in Trinity = again no more than 5 wins per year, while again violating school rules through his actions with the kids.

He hasn't won more than 5 games in a season since 2004. That's EIGHT years. Kids have started college and graduated with doctorates since he last won 6 games in a season.

Let me tell you something man. I'm a former player coached by coach Langston and he is a great coach and a great man! Whether you think so or not you will never know unless coached by him. He took us in trinity a lot farther than we have been in recent years prior to his arrival.
