I agree that any prayer without the name of Jesus Christ has no meaning....but I can pray anytime I wish...and I do...any ruling by the Supreme Court .....pro or con...means nothing to me...only Christ ...... Means anything....and my dialogue with Him....is private...

I'm glad you share your opinion. That's the good thing about your opinion. It's all yours.

This is not merely an opinion. There is no evidence to suggest that prayer has any effect.

Medical studies show that patients who are prayed for fare no better than those who are not prayed for.

I'm not Respect71....you go on ahead and believe what you need to believe ......I won't criticize you for it. My own beliefs are for me. I didn't expect to see you in the north Carolina forum. Why?

We must not forget that Jesus is God, they are all one the father, the son and the holy spirit. However,it is alright to begin your prayer with our father. Jesus is our great intercessor, your prayer will be recieved. Keep praying!!!

The 9/11 bombers were religious whackjobs.

They will have prayed to their god to make their mission a success and by doing so, secure their martyrdom.

As far as they and their equally crazy followers are concerned, prayer definitely works.

John 14:6Compare Translations
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Read John 14 NIV | Read John 14:6 NIV in parallel

A Christian is saved by Grace, Christ already died for our sins. I know prayer works. I know Jesus is real he is in my heart. I have love, peace and HOPE. Apart from Jesus NO one can know peace.
there is a difference in Religion and Christianty.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Gemini

Today's Full Moon, a Lunar Eclipse, will have a big impact on your relationships during the next few months, so stand by. If the cracks have been starting to show in a partnership, this could be when they turn into major fault lines that demand action. Can they be repaired or do they spell the end of the line? It may feel like a crisis but that doesn't mean it really is one, so don't over-react.
