The turnout was a paltry 22 percent of registered voters. While the races might not have seemed glamorous, what could be more important than a child's education, not to mention the convenience of clean, running water? Just wait until those services are interrupted -- that's when we all realize how much we take for granted.

How about trying to actually PREVENT CRIME instead of just taking reports and making maps??? It would save us all a lot of time and stress.
Of course the crime is going to continue until we actually do something: as of now there are no consequences because there are no investigations.

The skate park seems to be under construction by volunteers. Car thefts might be reduced by the use of existing ignition disabling, wheel boots, steering wheel locks, etc. Voluntary protection of private property by the owners (except for newly enacted property confiscation for public use) might serve to reduce "crime", as in Mexican Cartel marijuana grows. People who ask Police to take reports, ask the Politicians to spend other people's money to make them more comfortable, and so on will get what they are asking for.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aries

There are mixed messages flying around in the ether today, so be wary about drawing any concrete conclusions from what happens now. Even though you don't realize it, you may be misreading the signs that someone is sending out, which will lead to complications later on. Be especially careful about indulging in romantic daydreams and then believing them.
