We also have crappy parts of Indiana, Gary Indiana is just like Atlantic City - unless Atlantic City has cleaned up?
Nope AC is still crappy lol. It's funny because when they started with the idea of placing casinos here in PA some got nervous saying "look at atlantic city" thinking it will bring crime when in fact AC was already crime ridden way before the casinos got there, not as bad as it is now but it was lousy beforehand. All the casinos did was put it on the map in bolder letters.

Hate to tell you but quite a lot in that show is true. Especially the part about those from Jersey not taking any crap from people. Then again many uneducated fools I've come in contact with here to start the Jersey bashing only make me consider the source & take it with a grain of salt. Poor things, they know not what they speak.

You're, too cute too work, the coal mine. But, right now a coal mine is almost as good as a gold mine, with the price of heat being what it is.

Republican candidates soften anti-illegal immigration rhetoric at debate
The Associated PressPublished: December 10, 2007

CORAL GABLES, Fla.: The Republican presidential candidates sought to embrace Hispanics in a Spanish language debate Sunday, striving to mark common ground with a growing voter bloc while softening the anti-illegal immigration rhetoric that has marked past encounters.

The candidates avoided the harsh exchanges and name-calling of their most recent debate, while most emphasized the need for border security and an end to illegal immigration. The polite debate came less than four weeks before the first votes are cast in Iowa and amid a topsy-turvy race in which former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has bolted to the lead in the state.

Only Sen. John McCain warned that harsh immigration rhetoric voiced by some Republicans have driven Hispanics away from the party. The Arizona senator has stood apart from most of his Republican rivals because he supported changing immigration laws and creating a path for citizenship for illegal immigrants.

"I think some of the rhetoric that many Hispanics hear about illegal immigration makes some of them believe that we are not in favor of or seek the support of Hispanic citizens in this country," he said after the moderator noted that the percentage of the Hispanic vote for the GOP has dropped from President Bush's win in 2004 to last year's congressional elections.
