One thing to keep in mind here. This is business as usual for most "PROfessional politicians" and their staff. You don't think these politicos use/abuse authority on a daily basis?

How do you think they prioritize anything from road repair to building permits? Ever go to a local representatives office to have a problem handled-9 times out of ten the staff handles it with the elected politician never seeing you or your letter/complaint. Most municipalities have some kind of unwritten traffic ticket fixing system-it's totally implied. Around here if you want to be so much as a municipal clerk or trash man you must have the right politician's name as a reference on your application.

Some staffers are their for a job but most are their for resume time and to impress "the right people". Much like corporate workplace where you have a butt sucker doing anything they can for a promotion-they weren't told to do but it's implied this is who you have to impress and what you have to do.

That being said for the higher ups to say they know nothing and yet this IS business as usual is totally hypocritical. They know how it works and/or how the unofficial off the record game is played.

I was looking forward to the girth and social skill of average American citizenry finally being represented in the White House. The injection of business into the size-plus clothing and furniture industry would boost the economy, and all of this mamby pamby wailing and arm waving about a little bullying would finally be quashed.

yeah, all the bribed media channels will ONLY FOCUS on Christie to focus away from Benghazie, Afganistan and Iraq who is NOW flying the Al Qaeda flag. Who knows this lane closure on the bridge could've been this administration's planned project to get him (Christie) the publicity he needs to keep him off the ballot in 2016. Lets face people we have a corrupt administration running our country. Not so far fetched.
only fools or anti americans or troops haters wouldnt know this.....good to see the left is concerned about traffic...any benghazi traffic report libbies?

More retribution politics for waddles:

The Mayor of Hoboken, after choosing to remain neutral in the joisey governor's race, only receives $300,000 in Sandy aid from christie, after $100 million was promised.

.....lifetime supply of donuts for waddles is now safe.

The recovery is very good considering the fact that this last 7 years has been the worst times in over 70 years! U think most other leaders would have crashed this country in to the ground.

Well, obviously Chris Christie is social media's whipping boy for the week. Fortunately for him, you guys also have a short attention span and selective memory. None of this stuff changes his chances his long term political asperations.

Not the first time a Governor used Federal Disaster money for something else. In 2007 December the big flood in Washington state. I called the Washington State Planning department and gave them my Fast Flood relief Solution and they went NUTTS over it. Next day I received a call from Ecology in Lacy, Wa. and was asked to come down and explain my Flood solution and they went NUTTS over it, because once implemented during a flood, it works and if kept implemented. There would never be a freshwater Flood there ever again. Our Governor Gregoir at that time, refused to implement it in both Floods December 2007 and 2008, so she could buy a hundred million dollar ferry. So you see Governors do that. As for Governor Christi. I gave him my Hurricane solution in 2010 on the eve of Hurricane Earl and he bought all the equiptment and implemented it over night and then destroyed Hurricane Earl the next morning when it came in. I'm the Major Disaster Solutionist American Master and my last solution implemented by another country to feed their people 4 times better also turned off Global Warming in 2012 and our Satelite's Reported ICE accumulation on November 28/ 2012. The weather we're receiving now is like it was in the 1970's before Global Warming. Have a nice day. MIKE

That's why it's hypocritical of most involved to act shocked when in fact this is "PROfessional politicians" and their underlings at work. This is not the first vindictive or retaliatory act by a political faction. There were serious consequences from the lane closures. But it is still business as usual, there should be no surprises or shock. Spare me the omg reaction. If Christie lied for political expediency and pr shame on him, yes he should pay the consequences because lying or vengeance is not in the job description.

Benghazi involved fatalities, directly not indirectly. The IRS scandal affected or could affect people nationwide with consequences that include jail time and fines. The NSA scandal involves a direct infringement on your privacy and/or rights again with national consequences. So yes there is a big difference in how these "scandals" are being treated.

What many don't realize but have found out this is business as usual, they don't want you to know it's business as usual but it is.
