S1774 "One Gun-A-Month" Up for Surprise Vote

Full story: www.ammoland.com

Under the direction of Governor Jon Corzine and with little notice to the public to ensure that New Jersey sportsmen and gun owners were not prepared to defend their Second Amendment rights from gun rationing schemes; the New Jersey State Senate today added S1774 "One Gun-A-Month" to tomorrow's voting agenda.

Typical liberal tactic. Their golden standard. Deny public scrutiny of something they fear won't pass the public smell test. Kinda reeks of another liberal "we don't need no stinkin' referendum" package.......

They are quite literally stealing the rights of the people of N.J.

Well, Closer to the truth, They are stealing the rights of those who haven't already willingly given up their own rights.

Hey BobbyS..good point. Fact is, we, in NJ Deserve to loose our freedoms and liberties..we've allowed it. I just to the see the faces when they realize the err of the ways. We live in a state where only 17 to 24% of the ppl show up for "any" election or vote (National, State, Local) and generally those folks that do show up are voting for "entitlements" (Unions, Special Interest, etc) take us seriously? Na, we are no threat to them. They will continue to rob us, and run us over -- Pay up, Speak up, or Shut up...right?

and btw, another great example, as our state can't seem to navigate away from the financial rocks of disaster....what are your public servants focused on? How about creating more of a Police/Nanny state that wants to "regulate" common sense, good manners, and above all else REMOVING EVERY law abiding gun in ownership - while the thugs are shooting Ozi's at you. And, in add't to passing MORE guns laws, we have this: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,528088,00... <Democratic State Assemblyman L. Harvey Smith has introduced a bill that would “prohibit the manual operation of a global positioning system (GPS) device>????

These SHEEP deserve everything they get...

yes, unfortunately, you're right but I'm not sure we'll see a fix/correction in our lifetime. It' Quite scary. Ya know, in some ways, i can't blame folks, I was once just as manipulated and brainwashed - maybe its age, experience or maybe honest (with thyself). Nonetheless tho, I've learned this..."they" are very good at this game. Very good. And we don't want to believe we are being manipulated. We inherently want to turn away from bad thoughts, dishonest motives...we've been trained to do that... and I think in some ways, they know that. Look, ten years ago, my neo-conservative mindset 'took it as it was fed to me'... I was a good pupil for many many years. But then, as things progressed, i think they got a bit agreesive, but 'the game' lost is synergy. I stopped 'eating the news', and listening to what the "good guys" were saying and started to examine "the events" (i saw) on a one-by-one basis with a more non-bias, healthy skeptisizim. What I saw, and what i continue to see scares me greatly. Not because I see it, but because other do not... they are were i was --- by design they do not lend themselves to any kind of skeptisizism, they ask no questions, make no challlenge... it is what "they" say it is. "We live in a dangerous world" right? Or do we? Here is a story that 10, maybe even 5 yrs ago, i would have called propaganda and paranoia.

Today, I ask you not to "take his word for it" but instead check out each of the cases - are they/is it not true? Or, do you 'rationalize' it different? Why? Flush you mind of what you've been told to believe --- and just "see". If you don't "see" -- then ask yourself why you see the contrary? Because of 'your experience'? Or, because of why you know from news reports, media outlets, etc.? Think about it. Do this: Turn off the news, stop listening to the "justifications", for just one day, don't "rationalize" the why - just look at the raw events, the real pictures. What do you see?.... We are (purposely) brainwashed to not believe what is obvious to us - now, when ppl hear that, they shut down, they think "conspiracy junk" right? Why is that? Stop, think, look - We have allowed too much to be 'hidden in plain sight'. Don't be afraid to challenge what you think you know or what you've been told. ASK. Consider for just once: what if what they 'tell you' is not true. What if?

The anti-gun politicians have to resort to underhanded schemes because they know it wouldn’t pass muster as is.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Libra

You're ready to put a lot of energy and drive into the day, but you'll prefer it if you're doing things that have meaning and emotional significance for you. There's a chance that you could get quite heated over anything that strikes you as important now, and others could be taken aback by your vehemence. There might also be a minor dust-up over a financial matter.
