There is something about this article that just doesn't ring true to me. Or at least accurate.
This lady is promoting herself.
Everyone knows that the society is quite meticulous in planning assembely events, well in advance.
This woman had a publicist help her get this on here to promote her intrests for her buisness.
If the mayor was uncooperative with her. It was probably becuse he felt he didn't owe her any explanations.

The WHOLE BORING ARTICLE is ABOUT promoting the area and how this would bea good thing for the Economy ! She makes it VERY Clear that she's doing this for the economy ..DUH...
I could understand this in just a few sentences .
