An Italian Company Using U.S.taxpayer bail out money to build cars in Mexico?

The "new" Chrysler, something to choke on.

They should call the Fiat Mexican la bamba, "No Va".

This is really sad for America. However, I will not buy a foreign made car of ANY brand. If Fiat thinks they are making this car for me, they are dead wrong.

Well, "One to grow on" you need to go the Fiat sales site and get a dose a reality. If it weren't for China, Fiat would probably be out of business. It's an Italian car, and we Americans have plenty of American cars to chose from. So maybe you should do a little fact checking before you point fingers. I'll take a Ford over a Fiat any day.

I agree with you on all accounts. There ain't no demand for those little shit boxes in the U.S. We like our bigger heavier autos. And as for the bitch trying to blame you for the downfall of the auto industry? She's absolutley clueless. Most of us are taxpayers and have to help pay this money back. They send the freakin job to Mexico. Guess what, buyin a Fiat will never be on my shopping list!

I hate Fiats. What an ugly car. Chrsyler should leave this car in Mexico too. Don't even bother sending it across the border, unless they send it further south. This is definitely a car most Americans would not even look at.

Couldn't agree more. It's not people like you responsible for cars being made in Mexico either. It's people like the unions who have the mentality that they and their families (not you) are entitled to the best salaries that us taxpayers can't afford. They of course can't see it because inbreading does that. You want a cheaper car? The company has to fail and the salaries restructured to be on par with the rest of us.

Welcome to tough times:
Employees do not take pride of their jobs and want MORE, MORE and MORE from the employer!
Companies do not take pride in providing jobs locally anymore and take advantage of globalization to get MORE, MORE and MORE in other countries!
Does anyone see anything wrong in this picture?
