Still waiting for the mentioned cut of patrols of Hines Park. Also, that horse patrol sure seems like a boondoggle. Other cities don't all have horse patrols. The fair has ended. Coleman A. Young is buried. There is no further value. I realize that GM gave them a truck and trailer and others contribute, but there is still expense. All the officers are paid to prance around. There's a valuable corner of land at Hines and Newburgh that could be sold for a bunch and put on the tax rolls.
I think they look for money in all the wrong places-me.
