Some in Flat Rock unhappy with $50k bear statue

Some in Flat Rock aren't happy with a new 6-foot-tall bronze statue of a bear that cost $50,000 to erect in a public park.

Folks, this is what happens to your tax money when you approve a millage increase. They talk about the parks and the kids and all that cool stuff. Then they throw $50K into a statue that sits there doing no good for anybody. Meanwhile, the Indians should be doing OK with their casinos and a new one is being considered for Romulus, also in Wayne county.

They since figured out how to remove the duplicate post. Sometimes they do and other times they don't. The moderator must search for words like TXXix and go from there. I know that if you post a common English word that could have a dual meaning, they only seem to know the one meaning and flag the post. They also fiddle with the pictures you post when they want. I don't post any more pictures.
