Massage Parlor Murders.

I am curious as to what was the inside story on the two girls who were murdered in a Oak Grove massage parlor several years ago.

If i remember correctly the place was named "The Abundant Life Massage Parlor" or something similar to that title. Also if i remember correctly the place was alledged to be to be a covert prostitution business. Who was the individual who owned/operated the alledged brothel? Was the alledged owner/operator ever elected mayor of Oak Grove? Was the alledged owner/operator the presiding mayor of Oak Grove at the time of the murders or did he/she assume the office of the mayor during a later time period. What were the names of the two police officers who were alledged to have been involved in the operation of the alledged prostitution business. Where would these two individuals be located now?

I have asked several people and I have heard so many different stories as to who was involved and how it played into local politics, but i still have not heard anything substantial. I keep looking, but I doubt if anything embarrising will be let out. It is normal for this area.

The story about the murders was featured on americas most wanted.

I do know one of the police officers who was alledgedly involved in the daily operations of that massage parlor had later taken a job with the police department in providence kentucky. The bad thing about it was one of the girls who was murdered had family in providence and had grown up there and graduated from the providence ky school system.

I did hear that shortly after the murders there was a plumbing problem at that massage parlor and the source of the problem was numerous condoms plugging the sewer pipes.
Does anyone know the name of the plumbing contractor who was called to fix the plumbing.

Where was this place? I live in Oak Grove and I just found out about these events. BTW, the madam was Patty Belew. She was on the city counsel. If you google "Patty Belew Oak Grove" you'll get a few hits. Also google "Oak Grove Prosetute Murders".

OAK GROVE, Ky.- We Kentuckians should be proud. Right here in the commonwealth, we're setting a new standard for sex-related weirdness.
Think about it. Hardly anything surprises people anymore. Remember John Bobbitt, forcibly separated from his you-know-what a few years ago? Now somebody else gets "Bobbittized" and the newspapers might run a paragraph or two, buried inside.
Then there's our president, sued for sexual harassment. Legal experts once actually pondered whether he would be asked to drop his pants as part of the evidence-gathering. Ho-hum, the nation says.
So you can see why we should be grateful for Oak Grove. At least a few things are still considered shocking.
The Oak Grove saga so far has made Paul Harvey, the Today show and Jay Leno's monologue. The Los Angeles Times recently dispatched a reporter to Kentucky, and all the tabloids are calling.
Apparently, this is the new standard for bizarre: A former "madam" must stand up in a public meeting and announce that city police took bribes from her and used her brothel's services. It certainly helps if she adds that two of her prostitutes may have been murdered by cops.

Wait, there's more.
As city leaders challenge the madam's credibility, a councilwoman should announce that she knows at least some of the allegations are true - after all, she was once a prostitute there herself.
It always helps when officials make a few admissions. Like the sheriff's detective who says, well, yeah, a couple Oak Grove police officers (who ended up resigning) were suspects in the murders. And the Oak Grove police chief, who says, well, yeah, he did accept $1,200 from the madam while she was suspected of running a whorehouse. He thought it was a donation to his department, he says.

Where exactly was the massage parlor located? What is there now? The story of the location has been many different places.

iwas stationed at ft campbell during that time new life was across from main gate night of murders me and spc bamba were passed out in parking lot of the military surplus store and i saw 2 cops come out of new life and approach me asked what i was doing i said i was 2 drunk 2 go thru main gate they gave me a ride and talked to mps never asked me anything they were to nice it was wierdnext day i heard about the killings

First of all you need to cut Ms. Belew some slack. Reason being you dont know for a fact she is not telling the truth. You are only assuming that she is being untruthful.

4 girls were working 2 left to go get food when they came back they found the other 2 girls and went to gate 4 to get the MPs and police. Ed happened to be one of the cops who investigated the murders therefore any evidence of him being there could be explained by the fact he WAS there investigating. He did fail the lie detector and did resign. He later became a cops in another area of KY. The murders have never been solved.
