SPECIAL ALERT TO SENIORS - From Montgomery County Police and Rockville City Police Departments:

Rockville police made an shocking discovery behind a locked door in a Monroe Street home. Two elderly people were found dead in their home at an apartment complex on Monroe Street on Thursday, Rockville City police said.

The last time a newspaper was brought into the couple's home was July 2, one week ago, so police say the bodies may have been in the condominium for some time and they say they remember hearing of residents over at Leisure World in Silver Spring being victimized by illegal hispanic immigrants this past April and May.

A worker at the condos took the couple's trash out twice a week and dealt with their groceries, but he said he hadn't seen the couple in a week. Police were called to the home to do a welfare check. Building workers drilled open the lock on the door and found two deceased elderly people behind a locked door in the home.

A 76-year-old woman was found face-down on the floor behind the front door, while her 77-year-old husband was also found dead in another room. Condo worker Julie Grajeda observed, "I saw the police over there, you know, with the gloves and the masks and last week, some people coming here from elsewhere have been looking in windows of elderly women's bedrooms and I chased them away by threatening to call police."

Police say they are not looking for any suspects. Police are not saying how the couple died, but insist that no foul play appears to have been involved but violence and theft against the elderly are happening more this time of year due to the deteriorating economy and hispanic street people loitering in the neighborhoods according to police reports compiled recently.

So two elderly people died in their home with no foul play... And they try to link it to a completely unrelated story of illegal immigrant violence? This is awful journalism.

Welcome to Amerika, the world's newest third world country where illegals and terrorists roam freely and crime is to be expected and tolerated.

I hate when people blame crime on the economy. I don't care how poor I was, I wouldn't kill someone. Please don't give excuses for people with no morals. Hopefully the people of this county will start electing officials who actually try to remedy the problem of illegal immigration. The only problem is that they might not have a D (for Democrat) next to their name...therefore, they will never get elected.

So you feel that one who has a minimum wage job and has a family to support would not resort to crime to feed that family, or worse to support a drug habit if that job was lost?

While YOU may not perpetrate such a crime, there are millions that will.

I would much rather stay here and watch MORONS (such as yourself) watch society destroy itself and tell everyone that everything is OK.

As for my sister, I always pull her away from sexual deviates such as yourself.

Anyone that actually lives in this circus and states that nothing is wrong is either a COMPLETE MORON or explicit himself.

I agree with the above posts. I'm sick and tired or reading bigoted posts from Gary and his negative comments about Rockville, MoCo, etc.

Yes, crime exists; this area we live in is very much a city, full of shops, dining, and countless other activities. It would be naive to think that any city in the U.S. could exist completely free of crime; But personally I find this area VERY safe. I can walk late at night without worrying, and my wife can go out for a jog around the neighborhood and I know she is safe.

I’ve been living in the Rockville area for 15 years and I’ve never felt unsafe. I also embrace the diversity of the area. Personally I think Rockville has some of the best ethnic dining options; from south of the border to the far east.

Ah...The magic word BIGOT.

If you feel safe here (must not keep up with current crime reports) then the criminal element welcomes you and your family.

I would just like to have one ROUND-EYE restaurant to dine at where the staff speaks and understands English and you don't have to guess what it is you are being served.

As for your agreement with the other MOE-RONS here, who cares? There is a scroll function that allows you to go past posts that you feel are harmful to your supposed self-worth. Maybe use it?
