1 This new law will not affect tow truck drivers or anyone actively using the vehicle. For example, the on-call tow truck driver can park the vehicle legally by his/her home as long as they are on call and not exceeding 18 hours. Hence, if the tow driver is on call, he/she is in an active work status with the vehicle directly related to his/her work. Same goes for any truck/trailer actively being used for work (ie: construction, landscaping, plumber, electrician, pest control, etc). |
