He was a good and ethical man. He tried hard for our community and successfully prosecuted many terrible crimes. Horrible acts done against other people. I'm sure in his career he made a lot of enemies. People on the other side of the table from the legal right.
He also stood up for all of us and took threats from our streets.
If you hated him, you probably did something to justly deserve the consequence.
I'm glad he was working for us as long as he was.
Big shoes to fill. He took on his own if it was the right thing to do. Not many prosecutors can say that.
Rest in peace. You did good.
