Well we've been going to this waterpark for years 6 years now. Since the Acapulco Drop has been built 2 people have been injured. The first injury was a few years ago, when an older man came down it and broke his neck and YESTERDAY a young teenage boy came down it and severly cut his neck and hit his nose and blood was gushing everywhere. We don't mean any hatred against Alabama Adventure, but something should be done to make it safer or even be removed.

Welcome to the capitol of the bush league! Did you see the people that run visionland....I mean Alabama Aventure? Do you think its safe?

The problem is that inspection day on that ride was the same day the Auburn women's badminton team placed second in the SEC tournament (Bama placed 6th but they all so good) so they just forgot to finish it. But you got to hand it them..they have managed to keep the drinks to below 4.00.

Some friends of mine bought season tickets to the water park. They went once. My friend now says he will go once more - just to get the value out of the season pass - and then will never go back.

My advice - Just go the extra 125 miles to Atlanta. Their stuff is safe and probably gets a real inspection once in a while.

We bought season tickets 3 years ago and last year, but we didn't buy them this year. My daughter loves the park. I like the rides side ok, but can't stand the waterpark. There are always 50 million people there, you can hardly move in the water. I don't even want to think about what's in the water. We had "issues" with the park last year on a few things. One instance I asked to speak with the manager, I was told "He's somewhere in the park ... go find him." Hello! Out of tons of people I'm supposed to know what he looks like when I see him. I know they didn't expect me to go looking, but this is the typical response from employees there to any question - smart mouth comments. The worst part was you could go to a food vendor and there would be 3 or 4 people in front of you and all they wanted were drinks. You would stand there for 30 minutes watching the guys inside taking 10 minutes to put ice in a cup and fill it with drink. If they can't get any better help than that, they should make it self serve! Mostof the employees don't care, except the ones that were from other countries. They wore name tags telling what countries they were from. The ones from other countries were alway polite and friendly. Anyway, I don't ever want to go back.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aries

Don't get embroiled in a bad-tempered skirmish today, for it might turn into more than that if you aren't careful. Everyone seems to be ratty and argumentative, but once you let the first spat take place it's effectively declaring open season. Even though things seem out-of-joint, keep your lines of communication open.
