Ok. I have to admit. Congratulations are in order for Mr Obama. He is successfully accomplishing his goal of wealth redistribution. That’s right, after nearly 4 years of his incredible leadership, he has successfully reduced the number of millionaires in this country. http://www.cnbc.com/id/47631154 America Lost 129,000 Millionaires in 2011 America’s millionaire population declined last year for the first time since the financial crisis, according to a new report. The population of U.S. millionaire households (households with investible assets of $1 million or more) fell to 5,134,000 from 5,263,000 in 2011, according to The Boston Consulting Group’s Global Wealth study. Even the Ultra-rich 1% declined: “The ultra-rich were the largest losers in dollar terms. Households in North America with investible assets of more than $100 million saw their wealth decline 2.4 percent. Their population declined slightly to 2,928 from 2,989.” So congratulations Obama. America is in decline. Just as you wanted. Hey. How much did you get from those rich guys who lost?

You know, MA, that's the biggest problem that I have with the Teapublicans...it's so obvious to us Long-time Political observers that the Teapublicans are so ignorant as to the way the Federal Government operates & has operated for many Decades. They never cared enough to keep up with any of it, although all of it affected their Lives, either directly or indirectly, until it started affecting their wallets & then, all of a sudden they became Experts on how to "fix it", with no knowledge of how we got in this shape! But, worst of all, they still won't take the time & effort, to go back & try to learn because they're still too busy counting their Money & juggling their Stock Portfolios & all they're concerned about is the "ME, ME, ME" selfishness of wanting all they can get for themselves & to Heck with everybody else, even this Nation! It's like the Greediest, most Racist, People in this Nation all came together as a Group when Obama got elected, & Named themselves, "The Tea Party Republicans"!

So, if Obama has "redistributed the Wealth", where's MY SHARE??? I've taken a hit, just like the Middle Class & Upper Middle-Class, so where's my portion of that "redistributed Wealth"??? The Only Ones who have made money "hand-over-fist" during this "Recession" has been the Wealthy. So, if there was any "Redistribution of Wealth", it had to be that the Wealth was Redistributed so that the Wealthy got even more! So, if you really believe that, Tim, then "Memo to the Wealthy": FORK IT OVER! I WANT MY SHARE of the Redistributed Wealth!

There's a difference between those two Economic "Classes" of People. What was once considered the "Middle Class", not that long ago, is now considered the "The Working-Class Poor" because the more Wealthy the Wealthy get, the higher the Economic Bar is raised on the Income of those of us below the Wealthy, as to the classification of Middle-Class vs. the Working Class Poor! Thus, we have dropped from being considered "Middle Class" to being considered, the "Working-Class Poor"! And the Wealthy take from us , just like they do the "Middle class", just not as much, in dollar amounts, but more in necessary money to retain our previous Standard of Living!

Your 45 year old argument is old, worn out and impotent. Hmmmm... You know "OA" it amazes me that these old arguments keep cropping up. I just finished a good book about the depression years and the Roosevelt Administration's dealings with the right wing. The Republicans used the same talking points then that they use today against Obama. Calling him a "socialist" or a "communist sympathizer", saying that he was destroying the country, hated the "rich" was unfriendly to business with his wage and hour law, 8 hour day etc..... Sound familiar ??? The public did not desert Roosevelt no matter the rhetoric thrown at him, they elected him three more times !
