As far as murder, research the case of Mary Winkler and see what a sweet deal she got for murdering her husband. It's called typical Tennessee justice. Tennessee; a woman's state where a woman's word is worth more than gold

She probably assumed a man would go to jail for what she did to the little girl.

She was in a divorce with her husband wasn't she?
