It's a shame it still serves as a casting call for "special" Dateline NBC "guests".

My son had MySpace.

He started out with a very positive MySpace page. Superman, rock music, etc. NO ONE wanted to be his "friend."

Then he changed to death, dying, gothic, very dark page. He was flooded with requests from people wanting to be his "friend." The problem was, these people had serious emotional problems. He was not mature enough, gave his home phone number, and the calls came, all day and night. Even 2 AM!

We had to install NetNanny on his computer to stop him from going to his MySpace. He was obsessed. Would be on-line all night.

MySpace did not help our family in any way.

one who knows

My brother started his MySpace page 6 months before he passed away. He was 18 years old, and had just graduated from high school. His friends used it as a way to keep in touch as they went their own ways to college.
Now that he's gone, it's the only way for me to follow his friends through life. I imagine how he'd look now, as his friends become adults and begin to look older. I read their comments and it comforts me to know that they miss him almost as much as I do.
I am thankful that there MySpace is out there, because it helps me deal with my grief.

Myspace is great. Chicks on there are so easy. I have banged 6 beeotches in less than a year off there alone. Thankyou Myspace, I love you. Keep up the bad work.
