Minority contractors group sues Metro
A minority contractors group said Tuesday in a lawsuit that Metro failed to live up to its end of an agreement to ensure more minority-owned firms were hired in the building of the Shrewsbury MetroLink line. MoKan and the NAACP allege breach of contract, breach of good faith and fair dealing, and fraud.

Maybe this should have gone under the racism in St. Louis topic. After all, some people are expecting Metro to award contracts based purely on race. This discriminates against the white male owned firms.
How about awarding contracts based on lowest price and ability to finish the job per specs?
