1. It's KANSAS, not a major urban area like CA or NY - trust me THEY still need teachers.

2. She's an ART teacher. Whoo hoo. They are falling off trees as every failed artist thinks they can also teach (NOT.) MATH, SCIENCE and Special Education are still in need of good TEACHERS. NOT currently-out-of work-so-I'll-do-this-until-the -market-picks-up types.
