Not nearly as much as we've had of the Party of No.

Thank God! Brownback's ideology is archaic. Frankly, Gary, there's been far more change in the last few months then there's been the last eight years. At least the president isn't spending a fourth of his time on vacation in Crawford! He's actually working for the people. We're sick of Republicans looking out for big business! What about the working people!

What does envy get you? Not a darn thing. The simple minded mantra of “Big Business is the Enemy” highlights the shortsighted mentality. Understand this; no business equals not jobs.
In so far as Obama's promise that he is going to stop rewarding business that leave the country for foreign shores, we all see the results. He hasn’t done a thing about this. The only thing that is clear is the fact that the zombies who believed this “hope” BS are living in la la land. You all have a good nights sleep now.

Tell me o' grand pubah of economic wisdom, what should Obama prioritize? Is it the shabby economy? Is it the 1.5 wars we have going on? Our shaky relationship with the middle east? Perhaps Gay rights. Maybe Illegal Immigration.

What did the previous president do to offset the issues above? Obama inherited one hell of a mess 9 months ago. Give him a few years to try and right the ship will you?

If you want to blame anyone, blame your worthless congressman and look in the mirror and blame yourself for voting in the likes of Brownback, Jenkins and others. What value do they add?

To (SarcasmIsALostAr t) as to not convolute the discussion, let me bring you back into focus. The statement from Susan above had a negative connotation of business. These types of cliché are for the most part of little thought. Business provides jobs and this is a good thing. Secondly, the promise of holding business accountable for off-shoring by Obama was a positive pledge for all. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be anymore than an empty promise.

Now (SarcasmIsALostAr t), you, me, Obama, or anyone must at some point take the responsibility for are actions in spite of are inheritance. It is Obama’s watch now and eventually he will have to start pointed the finger at himself. How much time does the nation allow for Obama’s matriculation? I will be kind and let you pick, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 4 years, or 6 years? The courtesy is to you, but you must pick.

We elected him for four years. Let's give him four years without trying to undercut him and oppose every breath he takes.

I don't really care what he prioritizes, for the facts are whatever he works on is going to get screwed up.

He doesn't follow through on anything he says.

Right now he has so many balls in the air his head is going in circles.

He's incapable of taking things to any conclusion, in spite of that nauseating smug, arrogant look on his face.

The economy? His plan to solve that problem is already in place and it has already failed.
He told everyone the stimulus would insure unemployment would not rise above 8%, but the official numbers are 9.8%, while the unofficial numbers are around 16%.

The 1.5 wars going on? He promised to pull the troops out of Iraq and concentrate on the real war in Afghanistan, now he won't follow his own plan to accomplish that, and he won't listen to his chief military commander in the field.
He's now screwing that up.

Our shaky relationships in the middle east?

He is seen as weak by our enemies in the middle east. They laugh and scoff at him. And he has successfully thrown Israel under the bus, to the point that only 4% of Israelis think Obama is a friend, or has their interest at heart.

They see him as a Arab muslim and they don't trust him AT ALL!!!

You say, maybe illegal immigration?

Are you serious? You may think illegal immigration is a problem, but your boy doesn't. He's already included them for coverage in his Health Care Plan, along with unfettered abortion coverage.

Everyone said he had no foreign policy experience and it is now showing.
Biden was the one who did have a great deal of foreign policy experience, but Obama wants all the glory, meaning, Ol', "say it ain't so," Joe has been kept behind the scenes.

And I bet he (Biden) is absolutely furious. I'm sure he regrets the day he agreed to be Obama's running mate.

He was once a prominent member of the Senate and chaired, or was on, all the important committees and now he sharpens Obama's pencils.

What a slap in the face.

Remove your blinders.

Working People! The demoncrats don't care about the "working people" except to extract all the money they dare from their paychecks, so they can provide largesse for all the "non-working" people that constitute their power base. Their kind of change is sort of like when your body changes when you get cancer!

Lierals vs conservatives

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one. If a liberal doesn't like guns, then no one should have one.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat. If a liberal is, he wants to ban all meat products for everyone.

If a conservative sees a foreign threat, he thinks about how to defeat his enemy. A liberal wonders how to surrender gracefully and still look good.

If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly enjoys his life. If a liberal is homosexual, he loudly demands legislated respect.

If black or Hispanic men are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church. A non-believing liberal wants all churches to be silenced.

If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or he may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that his neighbors pay for his health care.

Whoa Nellie....I'm middle of the road...my beliefs on certain things are liberal (based on this person's comments) and sometimes not, but I don't go to the extreme if I don't like something as this person describes. It's this black and white view that is keeping us apart.

I agree. Obama is digging us deeper and deeper in debt. Comformising our security in his appeasement foreign policies. His intent on immigration is to have a open border policy. And to issue Amnesty to all illegals and eventual citizenship so they can vote. The premise they will be Democrat votes out of gratitude. Legal Latinos are pretty Conservative in nature. So that might be a bit presumptuous of him and the DNC. The ethnic lobbyists and their Immigration position is nothing more than about votes. Not about the mistreatment of illegals by unscrupulous businessmen, nor people only wanting a better life as to why they come. It is about POWER..and votes equate to POWER.

Also so they can fully participate in society and pay taxes. How is this country going to grow? White people aren't breeding. It'll take immigration and plenty of it. It's the only way. Steal the world's youth and brains and use it to build cushy futures for old white people.

you can Google anything nowadays ... I guess you were censoring yourself. "I can't say that, so I'll invent someone else to say it." Lots of folks on Topix do this. I did at first, when Tom really pissed me off, not knowing at the time that Tom was already posting under various names himself - remember Hot Missy with the hot photo? pure Tom D.- campy sort of fellow, isn't he?

I still use other names occasionally when I go into a national forum that I'm not familiar with. They can creep me out.
