he has been in institutes, one after the other... he is home now for school and this was done while he was on one of his visits... his mom had fell asleep on the couch and he was outside playing, his neighbor came over to him and ask him if he could do something with her dog because it was sick and dieing, he told her he would help if she told him what to do, and the woman ask him to kill it... since there aren't allowed to be any guns in the house he thought he could just kill it by doing what he did... and i know what your thinking, its his moms fault for sleeping while he was around, but don't even go there, her other son was in the er the night b4 and she hadnt sleep, when i ask her why she didnt call because i only live a few houses down, she told me that when she fell asleep, both of the boys were taking a nap in their rooms! that is what happened, so unless your a doctor, im not giving you any more information as far as his background goes! thank you, i don not mean to come off as mad, it just bothers me that noone wants to take the time to get the facts b4 they start a bunch of crap... im sorry if i made anyone mad, but thats how i feel, and thats what i KNOW!!!

<quoted text>the worse stories i've seen on this forum were from Harlan county. there was a story that went on forever about three guys that beat a dog with a hammer and then shot it under a bridge for growling at them. they even threatened me for commenting on the story. I'm wondering if this is the same bunch
no... this is the first time this boy has ever done anything like this! i promise!

I do hope that the kids are getting some counseling, and a lot of it,, so that they can be made to understand the ramifications of what they did. To just say they are mentally challenged and not do anything to get accross to them the severity of their actions would be only hurting them. They will grow into adults one day, and their future depends on helping them to live and thrive in society. I hope the best for them and hope they get the help they need.
the boys are getting a lot of counseling, 2 hours a day and 4 hrs on weekends...thanks for not telling me they need to be hung or anything of the sort! all i can ask is that everyone keeps them in their prayers, but they are doing better... noone understands how much it hurt them to find out that they were hurting the dog instead of helping it!

the woman told this retarded child that's been in institution after institution to kill her dog... hmmm... throw it off a bridge that's not painful huh? the puppy was six months old what would it be dieing from??? it did'nt look like it was on it's damn death bed from it's pic in the paper! i think that's bs! they said it's in perfect health idiot! i don't see some adult takin this healthy puppy to a retarded child and telling them to throw it off a bridge idiot! everything you said took every bit of blame off this boy and i just don't believe it. you have an excuse for everything that happened and it's to place the blame on everyone else. you can't do something and not have any part in it! everyone should know your an idiot and full of sh1t because the paper show's your ass is lieing! it ruined most of your made up story and anyone with common sense would know your lieing! your just as bad to take up for someone that hurt an innocent puppy by throwing it off a bridge!!! "when i called this boy retarded i was not making fun of him"

i was making the statement that he is really mental, not just calling him that for doing what he did... i do think that his mother should have called me to come down and help her watch them like she has done so many times before... but im sure that with all that was going on she figured they would just sleep... and as far as the neighbor goes... she is always trying to get them boys took from their mom... she doesnt like her because she is a single mother and the neighbor doesnt think that is right, or thats what i have been told, im not 100% for sure because unlike the rest of the stuff i have told you, i didnt hear that out of the horses mouth! please dont call me an idiot because you dont know me, and dont tell me to man up and put my name on here because then people could find out who these boys were and im here to help protect them, not make it easier to bring harm to them!!!

IF HE IS THAT DANGEROUS, he needs to STAY in the psych ward away from people. If you don't care about the puppy, then he will get big enough to throw them off the bridge!

It's hard to face the fact that there is nothing we can do to help in this particular case, but brands like Pedigree are offering ways for people to help animals in tough situations.

whats done is done... we cant go back in time, so how about you all learn to forgive and forget... besides... it had nothing to do with you! and iceman, that woman got away clear because of where the little boy was mentally challenged, they wouldn't take his word for it!
