This isn't progress. No one they arrested will effect the flow of pills on the streets. They arrested people selling to support their own habit. They will not get a big fish. None of these people are pawns of the "big fish." They know who they are, they just can't get to them. These people need help. About six months in jail, just to dry out and then some kind of program. Something. In the meantime, I hope they get the BIG FISH. I hope they get the ones who buy the stolen goods. These people sit back and wait, like vultures. It make me sick.

Because you can't trust no one in this town, not even law enforcement. You're a fool to think they are all straigh as an arrow. They talk worse than the people on this forum.

How exactly is it "cleaning up Harlan" to arrest the petty little street dealers but not the main dealers??? Giving a pot dealer several years in prison for a joint, but not even arresting the guy who sold him the pot to make the joint? That's not cleaning up Harlan County. And the way they are busting all of these people is by allowing other people they have arrested to snitch on them and they let the "rats" run free to sell wide open again... UNDER THE PROTECTION OF THE POLICE. You know, these little street dealers have families too... just like you. And yes, it is STUPID to deal drugs, and if you do the crime you gotta do the time. But what is the point in giving people SO many years for such little crimes. My husband wasn't hurting ANYONE when he sold joints... but he's doing 5 years for it. He's missed the birth of his daughter and will most likely miss the first few years of her life, just doesn't seem right to me.

And paying rats $100 a pop to bust people... and more than likely that $100 will go up their nose! God, I f*cking HATE pills.

but ur right about it going up their nose, thats what i disagree with, if someone is going to work for unite they shouldn't be an addict theirself! its bullshit!
