Wow, think of the lost pensions. They will have to work at Wal-Mart now. The other Dispatcher saw the officers "Stungun" should she not be forced to resign also?

Why was this even news? No crime (MAYBE using municial email for personal use MIGHT count as larceny... don't tell me that anyone reading this hasn't used an office copy machine). No indecent exposure, as no one really got caught. WHO CARES?

The reality is, a 36 year old "getting some" from 13 years his junior, should be given a medal, not a reprimand! Wish I was him!!!

As the financial world collapses around us, terrorists plot our demise, the Russian Bear has designs on mischief in Europe, Hartford make Beirut look as serene as Amsterdam, etc, etc, etc, this is small potatoes indeed.

There's got to be much more to this than just a little lunch liason. What's the rest of the story? And where does it say that they will lose their pensions? They are probably applying for them right now.

Good job!! A work place should be free of sexual harassment and this conduct should be corrected. That conduct is unbecoming for a police officer. Does he really regrets it. I hope so. A Police should be a role model for us. I admire the work of the police. They are constantly risking their life for our safety and I feel real bad when things like this happens. A Police job is serious and very important.

Gee, what took you so long to post this story. The Register-Citizen, which made the Freedom of Information Request to get the information about these cases, had this on its web site last night. It was the lead story on WFSB - last night at 11.

Today, it was in the print editions of the Republican-American as well as Register-Citizen.

Why spend 75 cents on the Courant?
