Fireworks show hot topic at Torrance City Council meeting
The fireworks have started a year early for Torrance's mayoral campaign, with one aspiring candidate suggesting that the city resurrect its Fourth of July pyrotechnics show at Wilson Park.

Bringing back the 4th of July fireworks at Wilson park is a spectacular idea. It brought the community together.

We need to watch our pennies (not our fireworks).
If we have money to spare, it would be better spent on something more permanent. Lets not pretend we have money to burn. Watching it go up in smoke should not be a pretty sight for any Torrance resident.
When voting for our next mayor, remember who had the common sense to say "no" to this - Bill Sutherland.
