I am so amused by many of the "old guard" who cannot believe what is happening in CA. They still don't get it do they?

Can you imagine any one being less worthy of the public trust than Harris after what she did to the decent citizens in San Francisco. The Party sure screwed us all this time.

Tracking polls for the campaign showed the surge developing in the final two weeks of the campaign, particularly among African-American and Latino voters.

"Latinos accounted for 22 percent of the voters," Spillane said. "That was extremely significant and unusual for a mid-term election. Frankly, it could be a turning point in California politics."

Spillane said the results in California - going against the gains nationally by Republicans - shows the difficulty the party has in the state.

"Republicans have some very serious problems in California," Spillane said. "When you have the gains the party saw nationally, we had a Democratic tidal wave in California. The people at the grass-roots level don't like to admit it, but the party has problems in this state."

Great so we get a hippie who is afraid of the death penalty and is more concerned about the environment.

It completes the Democrat take-over. There are NO republicans in any seat of power. Not a single one.

So when the roof caves in, only one party will be held accountable.

Kamala Harris is yet another liberal. She is opposed to the death penalty, supports illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, and that usual nonsense. Her main qualifications are her parents. Female, African-American, Indian-American, and Asian-American. She's gotten ahead on EEOP like nobody else!

I think she fits right in.

I am sorry, maybe she needs to grow a pair to stand up for people and do what is right. The Death Penalty needs to be used and forget the 20 year waits. Guy gets the death penalty then they should be in the ground by the end of the year they are convicted and given their sentence. We already have too much trash in our jails.

"It is unfortunate that someone who is a nonpartisan, non-politician could not overcome the increasingly partisan tendencies of the state, even for an office that, by its nature, necessitates a non-partisan approach," Cooley said.

Now, now, Steve. You're a Republican and have always been.

That's what's called democracy, Tom. California voters examined the Republican party and found it unworthy.

No Tom, Kamala will soon be the state AG because she got ELECTED to that position, not because of her gender, ancestry or any equal opportunity program. But you go continue to make your ridiculous lies. That's all Republicans can do.

Dear Tom,

Wow maybe I went to Arizona for a reason!---must had stumbled into that one!

Or maybe your Republicans are Democrats faking it!

Or maybe there is no party and it is just one big dictatorship!

But I will go with Gloria Molina 7/13/2007 statement about setting up a "Kremlin Type Organization" in the state of California---LA County.

Not surprised!

Sincerely,

Don Karg

I predict violent crime will rise during Ms. Harris' reign. What is more worrisome, is that violence against police officers will rise. Harris opposed the death penalty for a cold blooded cop killer in San Francisco.

Only California would elect an Atty Gen who protects Cop Killers. Have we lost our minds? Is the the Botox, emotionaly immaturity, or is there something in the water here? This last election, we proved to be incapable of rational political choices.

If our people would have read "TORRANCE: How Far to Moscow..." in October of 1988, they would not be surprised.”Apparently our representatives, and our paid public servants in the Southbay," I said in 1988, "never did hear the words of William O. Douglas (U.S. Supreme Court); in his book 'America Challenged' he stated that:'...if we do not regain the initiative but continue merely to react to communist moves, we will grow more and more ineffective in the world’s political contest....' This writer knows that most people don't think in that direction--but one procurement official at a Hughes division, Michael Schwarzkopf, head of Procurement, with the German Tank on his file cabinet. Maybe he wanted to impress General Norman Schwarzkopf, who is now our "leader" in Saudi Arabia; too bad his name isn't Lawrence. As president, or even as Iacocca's successor, he still might be able to do something for Michael--Hughes' early-retirement plan, wasn't the right-way to end his career."

And now, twenty-two years later, we begin seeing the dire results of our indifference. And what do we see, our "illegals." The real problems we don't even want to touch.

Nobody denied the voters elected all Democrats from top to bottom in California! Just as nobody denied that voters in other states removed Pelosi and Democrats from controlling the House.

What I said was that when the roof caves in here, nobody can deny its the fault of Democrat leadership in California. There simply are NO Republicans to blame it on. Even you won't be able to spin the upcoming economic "dislocations" on anybody but Democrats. I'm sure you'll try, of course.

Kamala is famous for her kid glove treatment of killers, protection of illegals, and constant rendition of her "multi-cultural" background. Read up on the woman, she's a fraud. But again, all this will be clear in the months to come.
