Please thank your friendly neighborhood republican s-c-u-m-b-a-g for this embarrassing situation. Think of it: the only super power in the world and it does not provide healthcare for its citizens, something that is being done everyday of the week all over the world - as long as you're not talking about the U.S. Republicans think it's better for people who can't afford the outrageous insurance bills to die because to have government run health care, as head nut-case Palin says, would be "evil" - probably it is evil in the minds of the people in the insurance industry but not to anyone else.

If California raises taxes high enough and they kill all the jobs -- and we can all camp out at the Forum for our toothaches and heart attacks.

OTOH, maybe this kind of healthcare is all we deserve. The state is 25 billion dollars in debt, paying people with IOUs and the idiot citizens keep re-electing the same fools, crooks, and creeps into office. You get what you vote for.

And we'll thank the bleeding heart democrats for the open flood gate that is our borders for all the $ being spent on the illegals instead of the citizens. Gracias democratitos. And if you've got healthcare currently, you should think twice before demanding medical coverage for all b/c those most hurt by the socialized medicine will be the middle to upper income. You thought waiting an hour to be seen for a common ailment was long? how about waiting months. Becareful what you ask for. Viva mexico!

Heres the thing, Mexicans work here, they didn't come to America to be lazy and non-citizens. They spend money here AND make money here. Republicans in Orange County hire them to build, yet don't give them a living wage nor health care, it's cheap labor. Who's in the wrong here? It's a system wide problem, not red or blue.

Republicans don't like the Obamacare plan because that leaves the private insurance commpanies with less money, hence less lobbyists. The members of the boards of all of the Pharmaceutical, Medical and BioTech companies are republicans. Its a joke. They're just trying to confuse everyone. Lobbyists are paying out ALL of these guys to keep health care costs up, to keep spending up and to keep people on drugs and not giving a shit.

I would like to volunteer but the link to the RAM website indicates that applications were due by 8/1. This is the first I've heard of this wonderful organization and unfortunately I could not find contact info on their website. Does the previous poster or anyone know how to reach this organization and if volunteers are still being accepted for this event? Thanks to anyone who can provide info.

This country is FINISHED! The wound is too deep to recover from. That moron "Coach" just believes that we have endless streams of money to keep the gravy train going for the masses of the third world who caused this mess to begin with.
"Coach"--where were you when it came to volunteering you communist pile of dung? Start practicing what you preach or shut the F*** up.
Your bleeding heart BS is so sugary sweet it is disgusting to see even across a computer screen. You are like all the rest, "not in my backyard", "tax, tax, tax the rich" only problem is is that liberal **** jews like yourself have your jew lawyers, judges, and politicians cover your cheating asses while working stiffs like me pay for your insanity.
The well is dry. Illegals GO HOME. Further taxation will only result in whatever few businesses that are left in California to go elsewhere along with all the productive working tax payers making the day of reckoning even worse.
Even your fellow jew Ayn Rand knew this---read "Atlas Shrugged"
lol - I'm not Jewish. Don't forget to take your medication O.K?

Well at least Coach admits he's a marxist. Obama now denies it even though he has said himself he is.

Guess it's time to warm up the revolution. Real Americans are not going to stand by while these lazy marxist maroons try and destroy everything. Time to clean the slate and start all over. Come the next election these pathetic excuses for Americans will be on the outside looking in.

I wonder how many of them could drop the cell phones and buy a personal Kaiser medical policy for less money per month?

Friends this is all about people making wrong choices and hanging the results on law abiding tax payers. I don't owe these people free medical care. They must consider that when they purchase items beyond their means and leave important things like health care out of their budget. I am sorry.

You say they come here to work? If that is the case then they wouldn't have any problems getting cut off the tax payer supported services they collect right?

Did you know that less than 2% of all illegals are here picking crops? Did you know that in CA, AZ, and NM 52% of all burglaries are committed by illegal aliens? Did you know that 40% of the prison population is illegal aliens? Did you know that 90% of all most wanted warrants in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

I don't know but,I think these folks have some character issues and should be well screened before we let them come here. You know things like are your kids gang member types etc.
