Stop crying already! At least you still have a job and you get 12 Fridays in a roll off! They give the worst service and want us to care. I can't even afford my registration.

I have to renew my license this month. I guess I'll be in the parking lot line all day. I hope the line starts at Starbucks so I can get some coffee as I wait in line.

Bas*tard Democrats in the state's legislature spent all of the money through tax and spend for the past 25 years and it finally reached its breaking point and this is what happens when they tax and spend us to death.

Why does everyone have to take it out on the state workers. If you only knew the working conditions. It's dealing with people like you all day, ignorant. Why not bash Arnold. Better yet, call him and your legislators EVERY day and complain. You think we like the Fridays off. NOT. We have to do the same work in less hours but I am grateful to still have a job. We don't need stupid people who don't know what they are really talking about bashing ALL state workers....go get a life....

Hey taxpayer, direct your anger towards the governor. I did not want this illegal furlough dropped on me. It is the MORON in office that made this happen. Good job arnie,

Why not cut their pay in half and put them on a 3 day work week?

I have been getting automatic renews on my driver's license in the mail (had made an appointment that last visit - it worked out fine. The employees I dealt with there were nice).

I am a member of the Auto Club - has been right up to the cashier's window to show my proof of insurance and to pay the tags (do so on the day that they are due, no reason for the state to be getting my money ahead of time). Or could drop it into the mail.

This is terrible....too much...inconveniece the public. The Governor should think of better alternatives for his state employees and public. He is a terminator, indeed. He terminates job for his employees and services for the public....how about him, no to receive his salary until june 2010---in short, serve Californians for free...

Hey be grateful that you still have a job.
I was laid off six months ago and I still can't find a job. I would be glad to take Fridays off if I had a job. How about college grads that have no hope of finding any job these days ? So DMV employees stop your crying and whining.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Libra

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
