Just got mine back after being out since 4pm. You would think they wouldn't have an outage on the same day the rate increases for 2011 I just received!

Yup. Just got my service back after I went to the store. I thought it was my modem at first cause my power went out, but glad to see it was not just me. Screw TWC, switching to Verizon tomorrow.

And in about three days you can expect these TW idiots will call and ask you to sign up for their "BUNDLE," -- phone, internet and TV. Fat F$%*ng chance, TW idiots. You should be investigated, outages every week, disgusting. And absolutely no live person, in six hours, to take calls from frustrated customers. Callers were met with long wait times, only to be hung up on. Really rude. TW needs some serious anti-trust investigation. Extremely cavalier attitude to their overcharged customers. WHAT KIND OF REFUND CAN WE EXPECT? My business was shut down for six hours, that translates to about $10,000. Thanks, TW.

I would love to know if Verizon is any better, or which company is the best. Guess that'd asking who is the best among thieves. Have you heard if they are competent. Do they have TV and internet? I am so sick and tired of TW's outrageous pricing, but don't know enough about the other options. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Time Warner is really the bottom of the barrel in technology and customer service. In six hours today, I was hung up on more than a dozen times. They NEVER had a live voice to talk to. They have to be brought to their knees somehow. Nice that the media can get ahold of a live person. But apparently, TW believes it's perfectly OK to screw and ignore the people who faithfully pay their bills. What kind of refund can we expect -- a few peanuts, probably.

As i was on the phone with tech support about this outage sales called and was asking me to change my phone and TV service to TW from vonage and direct tv

Protip - call Time Warner and ask for compensation - they always give it after an outage - but you have to ask for it.

to bad we cant get att or verizon in wilmington.. were in a "redzone" there missing out on a lot of money sitting here. i know of 8 people alone willing to switch from TW to ATT or Verizon. i guess well have that chance in a few years when they realize we exist. thank god i have Directv or i would have been really mad. thank you ATT iphone and Directv for keeping me in touch with my fantasy league. last week my cable went from a 200 channels 2 4 channels in in minutes. then with this new outage. it caused my computer to crash! much fun!

HORRIBLE customer service!You talk with people in another country who are VERY hard to understand but it's not much different at all but they'll tell you otherwise of course.

I have TW cable and it has been out since about 6pm last night..of course you call and get some stupid person on the other end who can't speak proper english and is very hard to understand, and when you are already frustrated, that only adds to it. I wish AT&T would hurry up and get the fiber optics in our area. I HATE TIME WARNER CABLE..Our area seems to get this problem all the time.
