I grew up in Palos Verdes and knew Boyce and Lee and their friends and families. This was a sorry affair that tore apart everyone it touched. It sounds like Chris has not learned much. It's all about what was being done to him, not what he did to others. All he had to do was to not be a traitor...simple.

If Boyce and Lee, who were convicted of spying for an enemy, can be paroled, why not parole Jonathan Pollard, who was convicted of spying for an ally?

Chris lives in Burbank. Still spying on everyone. His neighbors think his name is Kit. Many people know about it.

This was an okay thumbnail overview until I got to the part where the reporter declared that the Super Max Federal Prison is in Caņon City...it is not. It is in Florence, Colorado. The Colorado State Penitentiary is in Caņon City. Simple fact failings make me wonder if there are any other shortcomings in this story. Don't they teach fact checking in journalism school anymore? Does this publication have an editor?

I am friends with Dualton now. He has risen to the occasion full knowing what he did. After all did we get attacked by the Russians as a result of his espionage? Plus, the cold war is over! Did you know that Sean Penn gave hin his first job out of prison?! Well he did. Did you know that he doesn't woodwork anything. He cares for his aging mother in Palos Verdes. Futhermore he is a gentleman and very wiity. He just turned 56 and when I asked him, "How are things looking for your retirement years?". He answered,"I am waiting for my pension from the Russians!".That's Daulton today...

If not for these two losers the Cold war might have been over sooner. Many of our agents were killed by the Russians because of their betrayal by spies like these. Gentleman? Yeah, right.

What most of us learned during the trial was only the least important part. The part the government was willing to partially declassify to provide the evidence necessary to convict them both. The true extent of the damage done is known only to the people with the proper clearances. Their crimes were terrible, and could have led to war. Just because nothing overt happened, does not mean we did not come closer due to their actions. They are lucky that they live in the US, in other countries they would have been executed long ago. Redemption is possible, and maybe Daulton has found a measure of it. It sounds like Chris has a ways to go.

"Typical"? Flesh out your stupidity for me. Show me where we are better off.

These bums are guilty of war crimes, spying on their own citizens, torture...

Crawl back in your hole, where you can remain a blissful fool.
