WOW!!! 4 years for sexual assault. Our justice system is seriously out of wack! Marijuana dealers get a longer sentence that people that rape our children!

I agree. This is ridiculous. IMHO, this type of crime should be at least 20 years.

I can not believe that is all he gets, he should have been sent to jail for life. How sad is that. Sure hope he has alot of fun while he is in there!!! Yeah, right. He will be getting what he deserves. He should be really scared. Poor girl.

This is just absolutely absurd. He may of been sentenced to four years, but he will serve less. They will deduct the time that he has served in the county jail and then deduct "good time" if he behaves while in Prison. He might serve 2-3 more years at the most. How sad, this 14 year old will serve more time (the rest of her life) for something that she was a victim of. Where is the justice?

People, the name of the GAME IS NUMBERS!! The win on this case LOOKS great for the prosecutor. He would rather take a chippie, then risk losing the game. One more for the plus column, building a path to greater heights.

Should have kept all the charges and let the jury settle it. It does not matter what she may have stated, she is 14 years old Jamal is 20 and a parolee. anything he did caused the 14 year old girl to run to her school and report what happened. 25 years in prison (no parole )sounds correct.
