So in your theory couples that never bear children aren't really married? If its just for mating and reproduction?
First of all, it's not my theory, it is the prevailing theory of life. You don't believe in evolution?

Second, where did I ever indicate that childless couples are not really married. To my knowledge, that has never been questioned by anyone, or a problem for anyone, until totally desolate, barren redumbant gendered couples wanted to claim marriage.

Third, what prevailing interest does the government have in selectively supporting friendships? Once again, you are trying to avoid the real issue.

Do you ever have ANY real defense of the points being made?

Snicker smile.

First off, I am not gay, I am married, a father and grandfather.

I am for equal rights as an American for my fellow Americans even if they may be different than myself. I consider my support of same sex marriage as a patriotic duty, and I am proud of my patriotism. I think right should be done, even if I didn’t approve of them. Which doesn’t happen to be the case here just making a point. Although the same sex marriage debate will not affect me or anyone in my immediate family ( that I am aware of ) it makes no difference, as an American I fight for freedom, justice and equality.

I really don’t know what your "slant eyed zipperheads" comment is about, but I am not a racist, I take each individual as they come, anyone that judges by a racial grouping is ignorant by definition.
Thank you for being a married man that supports me trying to have the same rights as you when I get married. More people need to be like you. You are confident in your sexuality and beliefs but don't impose them upon others. We can all have our beliefs and thinks we think are right or wrong but if the law allows something that you don't like or agree with get over it and don't do it. If you don't like porn don't watch it. If you don't agree with abortion don't have one. If you don't like guns don't buy one. It you don't like spiders well you are screwed they are everywhere. My point is not everyone has the same likes and beliefs. In this country we can all believe and Iike what we want but don't make others conform with your ideas or beliefs.

Ss couples are a direct failure of the primary goal of evolution.

Government interest in the sole safe birthplace of societies members was to protect and provide for the wife and offspring.

Man up Jared, you don't need to deplete resources from women and children!

Smile.

What does taxes that we all pay have to do with the most basic essence of marriage? You have no basis of equating ss couples with marriage, so you ignore the very basis for claiming equality? Is that all you've got???

My taxes pay for the consequences of AIDS, primarily the result of homosexual behavior. There are countless things I could list. But out of all of them, supporting children and marriage deserves societies' highest care. You disagree (now that you've been taken care of...)?

Moreover, you list the devastating result of easy divorce as a excuse to undefine marriage even more! Really!? That's your logic???

You are a perfect example of why ss couples don't qualify and shouldn't.

Smile.

<quoted text>Jarboy, your ignorance is showing. You are confusing Christianity and Judaism to start with.

You also are confusing different types of Judaic law (Ceremonial, health and identity), at the expense of ignoring the profound distinction those Laws had on a single culture.

All of this to justify a evolutionary defect that seeks to equate the inherent harm, unhealthiness and demeaning nature of anal sex with natural, normal sex.

Do you see how stupid your denial has made you???

Smirk.

You get called on a dumb ass (pun intended) desecration of TWO major religions, and you simply ignore it? Have you NO shame???

If you are going to make idiotic claims, man up and answer for them!

Moreover, your defense is that if heterosexuals engage in inherently harmful, unhealthy and demeaning behavior (your stat is a gay twirl BS lie by the way), that excuses gays??? Do you really think you should be on a debate site???

Like I said, do you see how stupid your denial has made you?

Unbelievable.

Smirk.
What does your comment about confusing religions have to do with anal sex?

Then your government needs to IMMEDIATELY stop issuing marriage licenses to couples who are not willing to sign a BINDING contract that their marriage WILL RESULT in children.
If these couples cannot or will not produce children, then the government should have the ability to annul such marriages--maybe even filing criminal charges against such couples break such laws.
Stop sterile and elderly couples from marrying. Stop couples who have no interest in children from marrying.
Any other marriage, as you say, is simply supporting friendships.
First, your response has NOTHING to do with the basic essence of marriage. It is what it is, and ss couples not only don't qualify, they are a defective failure of the very core goal of evolution!

Second, why in hell should the government do any such thing? There has been no problem with that aspect of marriage.

You apparently forgot your very own farmer analogy;

A farmer who produces.
A farmer who doesn't produce because of age, disability or choice.
VV who never produces claiming to be a farmer.
VV who buys farm produce and claims to be a farmer.

And sillier still?

VV demands to be called a farmer too because the government doesn't demand that farmers farm.

Oh, and the government still has no prevailing interest in selectively supporting friendships.

Oh hell yeah, those slackards! Paid holidays. The more the merrier.

Today is Cesar Chavez Day (yesterday actually), a state holiday in CA. The way I found out is after having much trouble to get to the DMV to renew my handicapped placard I found it closed. My own fault, no whining. Drat!

Happy Cesar Chavez Day!

Are liberals mentally ill, spiritually depraved or just ignorant good-hearted people trying to improve society?

Liberalism defined by Merriam-Webster: "a political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of the human race". It sounds nice but history has already proven that political liberalism is not beneficial. Unfortunately, many still adhere to its philosophy which has led many psychiatrists to examine this behavior.

One such psychiatrist, Dr. Lyle Rossiter wrote the book:

"The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness."

"Psychopathology of the Liberal Mind: The adult drive toward omnipotent control of others, in any arena whatever, is rooted in fears of separation, abandonment loss or abuse--the residual effects of early attachment gone wrong.

The need to dominate others arises from the tyrant's need for absolute assurance that the catastrophic loss of dependency or the pain of abuse so devastating to him in his earliest years will not be repeated."

"Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

Why not? The elderly self-interested "anti war" 60s 70s people (now in power) are too old to be drafted, even if revolutionary Government reinstates the draft.
