Thank you to the entire Torrance Police Department for your exemplary service to all the Torrance residents. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance is to be commended. We are very proud of our police department and we fully support all of you 100%. Once again, you've confirmed another good reason why we still live in Torrance. Thanks again, and keep up the great work.

You go guys!!!!!!!

Where are all the commentators who were screaming about Mr. Powell and telling us what a "good guy" he was...oh, wait, they're the meth users he was supplying and maybe their in jail now!

And all the others who screamed about the TPD not doing anything about the Torrance meth problem, aren't they going to come back and apologize for second guessing the police?

Remember back when Powell got arrested for the arms violations, he got out of jail fairly easily and this forum even criticized his release. Now in hindsight, one has to wonder if Powell got out of jail so easily because the undercover operation needed him to continue his involvement to catch the entire crew.
Here we go again

Here's a tip for people concerned about their neighborhoods - I live a couple of blocks away from one of these locations. (no, not in Glendale) Become familiar with the vehicles used by your neighbors gardeners. I was curious about a couple of vehicles that had parked on my street - looked like gardening trucks - I never reported it (regretfully) but there is a good chance they were parking in front of my house and walking - since I know my neighbors well, and know they weren't their visitors. Also congrats and thank you for your efforts to the every day citizens who assisted the various PD's - way to go.
