Congratulations guys! One of you may have been the officer who stopped my son's car and arrested the thief! Hats off to you all for the great work!

Are you joking. 6 arrests in one year! I want 6 arrests an hour. All they have to do is patrol Roscoe, Topanga, Canoga, Parthenia, Satcoy......what a joke. The bar is that low? They could be arresting tons of drug dealers and gang bangers if they ever got out of their air conditioned cars.

The article does not list these officers other arrests, so they maybe doing that as well, so stop being critical. Besides, unlike other jobs, their reward for outstanding work is simple recognition. To cover the next issue, AAA pays for the program, including the certificates, and the pin they recieve.
It's amazing to see an article positively depicting police officers, and then read such a ridicules respoonse.

PS LAPD is hiring if you think you can do better. Don't want to change jobs, become a reserve. Maybe you can become a police volunteer, or police advisory board member. Until then you should limit your critisism.

CONGRATULATIONS GUYS, GREAT WORK! STAY SAFE!

To paraphrase Chief Wiggum, that's some fine arrestin', there, boys.

The one time I went to that police station - to complain about something, of course - the guys at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Now, granted, I'm still suffering from the same problem -nothing could be done about it, but they were very nice and helpful. I've finally realized that if I wanted to solve the problem, I'll have to move out of the toilet that is Canoga Park.

Yup, 6 arrest for GTA suspects is not an easy task. If you Google the 10851 program, you will see this. The article did not say 6 arrests in one year for all crimes, it was for GTA suspects. Just because it is obvious you don't know how to read or you just have a problem with the police, think about this before you comment. Everyone else got it.
