Well, that's a pretty stupid post. The driver of the Mustang probably didn't even notice Mr. Macho in his Neon.

Yes, Neon's are quite a symbol of masculinity. That's why so many little blond teenage girls drive them. LOL

Yes the SRI is fast for an econo car, but at the end of the day it's still a Neon. You can polish a turd all day long but it's still a turd

oh he noticed...and he tried. quite unsuccessfully i might add. i know it's not a masculine car like your vette, but it'll lay a beating on your vette 0-160 by about a bus length.

I don't drive a 'Vette anymore because it was too nerver wracking to be diving beside an 18 wheeler and looking up under it as it passed to see all the nuts and bolts that were holding it together. A Corvette is a fun Sunday afternoon car, but unless you can afford one just to play with it isn't a very logical choice for everyday transportation. I don't envy, or hate, anyone who drives one because having made more than a few payments on one of those babies, I know for sure they are paying a high price for those looks of envy that they get! I drive a sensible SUV now and it gets me where I need to go, but I say, "Hats off to those of you who are driving around in your dream car! ENJOY...and don't worry about the jealous souls who aren't willing to pay for the pleasure!"

i don't drive a vette simply because i don't want to be in that click. most people who have vette's think they're the only sports car to ever graced the roads of america. i drive an SRT because it's a fun car to drive. it's not my dream car, but it's pretty quick, cheap, and a blast to drive fast

side note: i do like corvette's, i just don't like the majority of their owners

You're right. Many of their drivers are total jerks who only have them to prove something to other people. I only got mine to prove something to myself because I'd promised myself I'd get one when I got to making a certain amount of $$$. I only kept it long enough to realize that it was just a status symbol to me and once I reached the point where I could actually afford it, I really didn't need it to impress anybody any more or to feel good about myself. I'm still happy for those I see driving them though, because I figure they have them for the same reason andif they make enough money to afford them, they have worked hard enough to have earned the right to do whatever makes them happy and there are no two ways about it...they are beautiful cars! I'm no longer envious of the 'beautiful people' who drive them, though, because I can now say, "Been there...done that" and that feels SO good! Everybody should own one at some point in their life, just to see for themselves that they don't get you there any faster or more reliabily and they really don't change who you really are. I've actually had two or three other cars that I liked better...believe it or not!

Virgo

Have a think about your health today. How are you shaping up? Are all those mince pies and sausage rolls already taking their toll on your waistline? Is it ages since you last went to the gym? Then this is your chance to start making some improvements. Don't plan anything drastic or unrealistic because you'll soon lose heart. Instead, devise a sensible regime that you can stick to.
