Why was it changed from Labor Day weekend as it has been all along.....oh well, it seems to me like it is starting to fizzle out little by little as the years go by, more so within the last 5 yrs. What do you all think??

i agree .it does seem like its not as big as it use to be,but thats the way it is in t=ville noone there wants to support anything so things just die out. They can go other places and support thier festials and fairs and such but they dont at home

Not to mention since they started having a "cruise in" instead of a judged car show there has really been a drop in numbers there as well.

Not to be a downer, but I went to the Chicken Festival in London last year. They have it because they have the First KFC, and it was a little more impressive.

The Monroe Co. website was what I got my info from and then I read the correct date in the paper today. If you read my post I was saying what we read on the website and trying to make sure, rather than telling others when it was.
