i'm glad to hear that u had a good experiance there, i had actually quit going there. my parents are building a house they have done the most part themselves an every day i'm off me and my mom go get supplies since my dad works out of town. and the last maybe.... 5 or 6 times we shopped there they were extremely rude. you would think they would recognize us and b courteous since we had been shopping only there every monday for the last 3 months and have probaby spent close to 10 grand there but no... we (me my mom with my 1yr old niece on her hip) had to load numerous loads of pretty heavy supplies alone. O and thats not all my mom did attempt a trip alone (with my niece on hip) once to buy a set of french patio doors after they loaded them for her they sent her on her way. around the time she made it to 88.....yeap u guessed it....the wind caught jus right and the french doors flew off barely missin a car behind her and landed in someones yard, shattered! none the less, my mom cleaned up the mess with the help of a passer by and my brother that she called cryin and then got the # from 411 and called lowes who told her in exact words, "We're real sorry to hear that ma'am but we are not responsible for tying down loads due to lawsuits. So once you leave the sloading dock its your 'baby'!" obviously my mom was a lil frustrated and asked why they did not tell her this before tellin her that "she was good to go" and the managers reply to this "Ma'am i guess you should've checked it before you left. I'm sorry we cannot help you nor can we replace them. Next time i suggest you bring a strap and tie them down. Have a good day!"
so i really really hope their customer service has improved, i'm excited to go back and see for my self, gas is getting too high to drive to bowling green wen there's a lowes in glasgow!

all i know is that sunday everybody in lowes were extremely courteous and polite and very helpful.and these were the young people who work in lowes. maybe they were just newly hired but there's a difference in a new employee and an old employee.
