Warrens Festival: good and bad

Widen your aisles between booths. Crowding all these people between the booths is annoying and has to be dangerous if something happened to panic people.

Put a rope or snow fence up down the middle of your main streets. That way people will have to go one direction or the other. Yesterday people were trying to go against the flow and causing problems.

You have the same number of benches for people to sit on as you did 20 years ago. Add more benches by the food trucks and vendors.

Get a second cell tower so that there is coverage all over town. People calling friends and family and saying that they're having fun at the festival is great advertising for you.

Good things: food was great. Crowd was orderly. Booths were interesting. You do a great job at parking people: it was easy in and out.

But as the crowds get bigger, you need to make some changes. At some point, pushing through too many people down narrow aisles is going to make this wonderful festival a chore. And no one likes to do chores.
