You think this crotchety old lady gives a crap if her client lies under oath? You're foolish if you do. I have seen Nancy do some super shady things over time.

I don't know of shady practices. My friend never eluded to it. But, from what I know, she holds her friendships with other lawyers, in high regards. She trusts them. Matter of fact, if you are being represented by her, other lawyers will tell you, in front of her "that you have a great lawyer". Now tell me, would a lawyer who feared her as an adversary, say this to you?

I had been in court 3 years trying to get custody of my daughter. Went to Nancy and she got it taken care of. I'll be eternally grateful to her. She was always available to talk, always in court, always ready for a hearing.

Nancy just helped me through a difficult divorce; and was a supportive friend as much as an excellent attorney. There were times that I was frustrated by the legal system; but Nancy really knows what she is doing. She is sly and impressed everyone in court. My now ex didn''t stand a chance!

I've seen Nancy in the courtroom on many occasions. I must say, I'm not impressed with what I have seen from her. I would hire her for something small, like an uncontested divorce, but only because her prices are so low and you need to go through the formalities of hiring an attorney. But for anything more, I would go elsewhere.

Nancy Rivenbark is an excellent attorney and a champion of her clients. The person signed on as Bob below must be a victim of her brilliance. She has handled affairs for our family and we love and respect her.

I have to laugh at the comments added by anonymous nay sayers based upon rumors and so called observations. Her husband is not dead he is delightful. If you observed her perform you would be very impressed. I love watching people dismiss this tiny lady as irrelevant as she gives them enough rope to hang themselves.

My guess is that "Seen it" is either a habitual criminal or sour adversary. I have watched her perform up close and personally in civil and family matters and she is Awesome.

You don't have to be a sour adversary, a victim of her "brilliance", or a habitual criminal to have an opinion of how the woman works. I have seen her in the courtroom, on a case that wasn't mine, nor was it a case of anyone I know. All she did was grasp at straws. She tried to make an issue out of the smallest things, and she looked like an idiot doing it. I was amazed that she performed so poorly considering she has a fairly good reputation.

Nancy has a typical client. These typical clients have a typical baby daddy. These typical baby daddy's are usually too broke to afford an attorney. That's where Nancy excells. But when the typical client gets knocked up by an atypical baby daddy who can afford an attorney, that's where she fails. So, the moral of this story is don't sleep with a typical client. (Hint: They can usually be found at White Laurel or Social Services.)
