I am on a medicaid share of cost of 1913 each for me and my husband. although our income from disability is only about 2100. impossible for us to make our mortgage and basic bill much less money for food or medical expense. how does anyone make it. out meds for the two of us is over 400 dollars with no help to pay........worked alll our lives until the disability..........renal cell cancer......what is america going to. not any help out there can I find.....

Here in NC, late-Governor Perdue made a last ditch effort to keep residents of adult-care facilities in the facilities. It was a short term fix. Now it's up to NC legislators.

I'm in the same boat. I can barely afford my medicine expenses just to stay healthy. I luckily found health care on call, which helps give discounts on medical expenses.
