Perfect location for this low class restaurant, next to the pawn shop. What we need now is a topless bar to round it all out.

I doubt it.it will be hard to get in and out and by the looks of it they'll only have room for 5 parking spots.popular spot for truckers and drunks though.

Truckers won't be the largest part of their customers. It's not like Boone is on a huge interstate.

Wasnt there another waffle house in town, by Bank of America like 5 years ago? If it failed once, what makes them think it's going to work this time?

The Waffle House location will get 75% students and the rest will be locals and tourists. Not enough parking but late night foot traffic will rule. I agree this will be the final nail in the coffin for MH. Yes it failed before beside BOA.
Where will this new waffle house be?

This location doesn't make a damn bit of sense. It's being crammed between two existing buildings, driveway variance is being granted at an already CRAZY intersection (the end result is 3 driveways just a couple feet away from each other), and on the other side of the pawn shop is all the open space for sale that you could want.

Thats a good point. The driveways in that interesection are always blocked by traffic. Hard to get in and out of Wells Fargo or McDonalds. What a mess that will be.

Not really. The Waffle House will be on the opposite side of the road from McDonald's. That side if the road rarely gets backed up.
It's like turning left out if Taco Bell or the Cookout. If you're dumb enough to try it, you deserve to sit there for a while.
