Wow now that's one job I would hate to have - a Principal at WHS. A school official might make good $$$ but after the days over with the stress and baby sitting young adults has to be crazy. There are so many ways to be fair and nice but to mix them and come out with loyal respectful students is not going to happen. I've seen so much turn over at that level that I take it that many who fill that role aren't serious about the responsibilities to stick it out into a lifelong career. It's a hard job with all the crap you have to keep dealing with. With so much turn over how can a school board have a solid backbone to keep the basic mission of school order and respect. I have personally felt the flaws of the school admin of Watauga with piss poor decisions only to pad themselves with not correcting mistakes and coming clean. It's sad that soon I will have family going to school in that school system.

And parkway getting ready to get another principal. Bet it's nobody from here. Don't think there is one from school admin up to the top born and bred in Watauga. Wonder what's up? Just dont have locals trained or interested? Not the perfect answer just an observation.
