Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department is on the scene of an accident on Route 611 in the Tobyhanna section of Coolbaugh Township, according to the Monroe County Communications Center.

The Walmart shopping Center is NOT on Rte. 611. The Walmart Distribution center is.

Hate to burst your Bubble Tobyhanna Woman (from Kenosha, Wisconsin), but Wal-mart Super Center #2365 is Just off 611 on Rte 940.

How many deaths does this make in the past 30 days? Seems like twice a week there are fatal crashes in Monroe county.

The Store is close enough to 611 to make it a major landmark, and as the the article never even said Walmart was on 611 it said from the beginning "on Rte 611 in the area of Walmart" meaning she was not correct in her statment at all as the accident was by the store not the distribution center several miles away asa she percieved it

Walmart is nowhere near 611. She was correct the Walmart Distribution Center is where it happened by. The Walmart store on 940 is a good several miles from 611.. I would not consider that the closest "landmark" by any means.
