So having drugs in your vehicle qualifies as a mistake? My God, how freaking stupid are you? Parents, students, and the whole community knows that having drugs in your possesion (and that means EVEN in a vehicle) is a no tolerence offense. No if ands or buts, you're gone. It doesn't matter who you are. There is no excuse for dope. It also doesn't matter if he was clean or not. It was in HIS possession, it is 0 tolerence, that's the rule. If you take his case into consideration, you would have to take all the othes that happened before him and the cases here on out into consideration too, which is stupid. Shame on everyone saying 'we support you'. Wow, you support a drug habit. Pat yourself on the back for that. But just so you know his life aint over because of this. He can still go to another school and he can still go to college. He just can't come back to LCHS. You guys pout on here because he was 'like a brother','an outstanding student', or an 'athlete', well it's his fault. Only he is to blame. When when you people ever learn that drugs are against the law? When will you learn that you are not bigger than the law? Parents, when you find out your kids are doing these types of things, when are you going to take responsbility, get off your butt, stope being their friend, and be a freaking parent?? Speaking of parents, you know, his momma was acting crazy and saying that she doesn't care that her son smokes it. What kind of mother are you?? You're not one, honestly. What you do in your home is only your business and none of mine, but there are laws and rules that you have to go by. I think you know that now.

Ok I have not been on here but I want to say something. Why isn't any of the other students who were busted on here and. This is not just about one person I understand there were more then just Craig that got expelled. I know this kid sounds like a smart person but "Really" they all new what they were doing and I do agree with them being punished. They have to learn rules are rules. And they also new there is to be NO DRUGS in school. Not a slap on the wrist and say ok now don't do that again. And I bet most of the ones that got in trouble are just sleeping in all day and on their cellphones and this is like an extended vacation for them. I believe they should have to get up every morning and get out and do community service or something to punish them. I mean really, I have not lived here long but I thank God I have no children in school. I am moving out of Lake County soon because of all the drugs and things going on here. Yes, it happens everywhere but some counties do something about it and even if the police knows that person oh well he needs to be busted this is so sick. I know someone will have something to say about my post well I am sorry but this is how I Feel as a citizen of Lake County.
The only reason the lewis boy is the main topic on this thread is because a bunch of his little h.s. pals are on here and on facebook defending him. No one else really cares about the others that got busted. He is their 'dawg' so to speak. Everyone that got busted deserves to be kicked out, no ifs ands or buts about it. As for a new rule there is no such thing. It's the same rule that has always been there. You get caught with it, no excuse, goodbye! He and the others werent too smart because one the messed with dope and two they didnt get it out of their cars. DUH!!!!

Craig Lewis is a good kid and a damn good football player! This policy that Lake Co. has is similar to Nazi Germany. One policy can't cover every situation, they are all different with their own facts. This football team went from a 9-1 team to a 5-5 overnight. Thanks for supporting your players Barger!!! When one of them gets in some shit, you throw them under the bus. Barger, you are useless.

I'm so sick of black people sayin shit like this. Black folks get treated better than white people these days, get over it. They get all the help from the government and scholarships from school jjust because they can chase a damn ball, and damn near all of them sell dope, get a scholarship to go to college and piss it all away. Give the money to a good, hardworking white kid that will do something with it and make something out of their lives.

Well you just tell ol Lewis that the same policy is in place at Central, Dyer Co., Dyersburg, and every other public school in the state. The only school he can do that mess in is in home school, which Im sure his no good mammy would light one up with him. This policy is black and white and does cover every situation protaining to the possession of illegal substances. There are no gray areas. If you have dope, youre busted, if you dont, then no problems. He aint too good of a kid otherwise he wouldnt have weed in his possession. As for LC football, they will survive. Not one player makes or breaks a team. Besides, if he would bring dope to school then he might have played high and you tell me how many games would the Falcons win with a stoner on the field? Also, Barger's hands are tied. If he fights it then 1) He's as useless as Craig and 2) He would be without a job. It's not Barger's fault or anyone at the school or any of the sheriff's department. It's all Craig's fault. He has no one to blame but himself. If rules/ laws like this are what needs to be in place to seperate the good/bad apples from the bunch and fully make them realize that stuff like that dont fly in the real world, then all I have to say is Hail Hitler!!!

I'm really getting a good laugh out of all this. Do you people not realize that it is over now? There is nothing you can say or do to stop any of this so just drop it. Okay? What's done is done and I'm going to move on past this just like everybody else should. And for all you folks who are talking my mother, I sure hope that makes you feel good about yourself. How come all you people post stuff but not one has the nerve to put your name. The only people who should be removed from this county are cowards like you, man up and quit using this website to make you feel better about yourself. Some people just need to mature a little and we might have an alright county. DROP IT

There never has been anything for kids here. What has changed? The parents want to be friends with their kids instead of being parents. If they mess with that junk, take away their vehicles, take away their phones, take away any privilege they may have. Grow a pair and become a parent!

There is no excuse for dope but what did they find exactly? Not enough to kick a kid out of school and since he passed his drug test that tells u something all by itself maybe it wasnt his, maybe his mom left it in there and yes he can go elsewhere but wont get his scholarships!!! Thats a little harsh!!!!!!

Well this is Craig and I would like to let everyone know that I did mess up. I use to live a lifestyle that I no longer live. I have been drug free for some time now and just have not cleaned my car out in about 6 months. They found tiny peices of marijuana in my back seat floor board. They hardly had enought to convict me of anything. And no, I do not get any special treatment because I am a white athlete. I had to go through with the punishment just like the other two did. And YES I di pass my drug tes but they are not letting me go back to school because of the new policy. If anybody has any comments or questions I'm sure you know where I live. But for all you people who doubt me, yes I am going to finish school and go to college and do something with my life. Unlike all you immature grown folks who hide behind a screen talking about MINORS, I plan on

continuing on reaching for my goals in life. I hope you all have a great day:)
