The Altoona Dance Theatre offers classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, and Mommy and Me. The facility is very beautiful and has professional flooring and a large lobby for parents to view and wait, this is very useful and appealing to parents and dancers. The studio has such a family atmosphere that I just love. All the instructors have a large knowledge of dance and experience, and they take the time to correct each child, I really love to sit back and see how much everyone is and has improved. WOW is all I can say. The Altoona Dance Theatre Jr. and Sr. Companies are recognized regionally and do super fun and wonderful events in and around the community. The studio is only been around a few years the students are technically equal to those of dancers with many many more years. The guest teachers and master teachers are renowned and exceptional, and I am proud that my dancer can put the Altoona Dance Theatre name on her resume. The prices are very competitive and you really get your dollars worth because the teachers and everyone involved go out of their to help you no matter what the circumstances they are always willing and available. The Altoona Dance Theatre school has one of the best programs in the area if you child really wants to succeed or learn proper dance technique just for fun they have both, and everyone always gets to perform even those with some disabilities no one is left behind. I really like this school as well. The instructor/owner seems to really take the time and work with the kids! ADTC has tried to bring in guest and master teacher with wealths of knowledge and experience!! This is a FANTASTIC school!!

The instructor is very good with the children for the most part...she has her favorites.
However, the lady behind the counter..HER MOTHER..is absolutely ATROCIOUS. Watch your back around her.
