Everyone knows good and darn well that our beloved Mayor hasn't really LIVED in Blue Island for at least a couple years now, and while he's got that lovely little summer home in Michigan, I'm curious as to where he bides his time in between showing up to council meetings and doing his best to throw BI to the wolves.

Come on people...there's gotta be someone who knows which chi-chi suburb Peloquin spends his days (and before you all call me a paranoid wacko, I'm in a position where I can view his Highland residence on a daily basis, and the house has been quiet as a grave in recent years)...

Someone I talked to recently said he lives somewhere in Lockport/New Lenox/Frankfort area... maybe we should pool some money and hire a private eye!

I'm not sure if you're serious about this, but I for one am more than willing to do a little digging into our beloathed Mayor's real estate shenanigans. Information about who owns properties in Blue Island is readily available on websites like Blockshopper; surely there must be similar websites for Lockport/Frankfort/New Lenox, etc. It may be legal for the mayor to pull this type of crap, but if more people knew about this, it wouldn't help his chances of re-election any...

Blue Island is falling apart.

To all those who WILL come together to make Blue Island a thriving, safe community.
to those who understand the importance of forthright CUSTODIAL leadership from our government,
to all of the good people of Blue Island,

if we have hope for Blue Islands future,
where we are invested,
and where our children live,
we must act swiftly and we must act together.
we must act now.

no more speculation. it is time for action.

BI Love, owning a house and actually living in it are 2 completely different things; the Highland address may be in Peloquin's name, but he sure as hell doesn't spend his time there, and neither does his disabled son. Otherwise, he would have mentioned something about the gunshots heard ON HIS BLOCK just a few nights ago....

peloquin- he doesn't even care what is happening in b.i. much less show up there? it's your money, keep paying him, i moved. check mokena, i heard half his family works there and he just hired the mayor of mokena to be our water dept. supt., why would the mayor of mokena who owns a plumbing company, need another job? oh, cuz b.i. has money to blow. then why are we not paying our cops and firemen cuz we are broke? so we have money to blow on friends but not cops and firemen? dont call 911 in b.i don!

Time to remove the Peloquin administration starting with Marcia Stone and Ray Cantelo next election! Ray spent 450,000 dollars on a house thinking he will be next mayor and he will have trouble winning next election for alderman!

If all that is written here is TRUE...than the PEOPLE of Blue Island need to put heri foot down....NOW! Demand an accounting from all those suspected of living outside of Blue Island. Fred Billotto may be looked upon as a knucklehead Frat boy, but at least he lives in town. Domingo Vargas may be looked upon as a Hispanic "Yes Man" for Peloquin but at least he lives in town. At the next City Council Meeting the question should be posed at the Mayor, Chief Hoglund & any other town official suspected of being citizens of another town. Stachulek needs to be asked point blank in front of every one... "Where do you Live?"

Stachulek lives in Crestwood, Werner in Mokena, Brosnahan in Evergreen Park, Terry Sulivan and one of the Deputy Police Chief's live elsewhere also. I'ts not as if they are hiding it. Just ask them. As for Billotto for Mayor, really? He definitely shows a lack of character after this whole park deal. Should step up to the plate and take it like a man, not hide behind a publicly funded lawyer. We need SOMEONE tostep forward and form a true coalition of ALL people who want to better B.I., before it's too late.

I think Peloquin lives in the sewers below ground... it would answer a lot of questions.
