Blizzard of I-PASS violations buries recipient

Audrey Weinstein gave her car to her daughter last year. But because the car was still registered in her name, I-PASS violations continued to be sent to her home.

I think the fines are out of control , And tacking on 50.00 per fine for a late fee is just unreal! Talk about SCAMS! ILL is robbing people with the amount of fines to be added and someone should get this fixed before its to late

IDOT are a bunch of crooks that deserve to burn in hell for all of this. They said my father ran 2 tolls and the picture that they provided as proof of the 2 year old incident was a picture of total blackness. Stop the tyranny now and out with IDOT!

The violation system is totally messed up. My company is up to $7000 in fines for a car we don't own with a license plate that doesn't belong to us. Try to prove you don't own something - each time you call and wait on hold for half hour, and there's no way to talk to anyone with authority to solve anything. I'm ashamed to live in Illinois.

The Tollway AUthority needs all the money they can get so they can pay the Super-Inflated wages that they pay their senior management team

The tollway makes most of its revenues from the fines imposed upon weary drivers whose mistake was getting onto the roadway in the first place and a year later a fine notice arrives and the extortion begins. There is no due process and lotsa luck getting through to one of the customer service people; you can expect a message telling you to call back during off peak hours.

Interesting how the collection buckets
seem to malfunction but the cameras never do.
