What are they going to do? Impose a dress code on the street walkers?

lol. I like your comment about the street walkers. I'm thinking the stretch of Central between Eubank all the way down to Washington would be better.

Washington east to Juan Tabo would be beneficial for the city as a whole. It would be nice to see it revived from the original Route 66 Style...

Let's just make the entire area betweeen Washington and Tramway a pedestrian mall. It has worked real well at the "Q" in Uptown (uh, how many of those stores are closed now?). Cleaning up East Central is a great idea, but it doesn't address the 5 to 10 blocks of crap on the sidestreets north and south of Central.
gotta close them all

Then. We can expand the shop and stroll from tramway to coors.

Are they going to keep away the dirty, mentally-ill, homeless, drug addicted, ragged clothed, money begging scum that infest that area as well?

I would like to see anti-panhandling laws citywide, everyone has the right to be on the street, but no one should have the right to approach strangers and ask for cash, a small sign or container pass on the message much better.

We already have them, however they are 'selectively' enforced.
