Maybe your own little world is full of meth. Anyone who has to trash others like you have is not welcome on these comments, a good man has died, most everyone here has shown some compassion. Maybe you should turn around and look at yourself and realize you are not so perfect. That's a fact, also, deal with it. Just wanted to say good for you, I liked what you had to say to that small minded little Amy, I agreed with every bit of what you said... My husband it a Local Driver as well here in NM Albuquerque, and Los Lunas area. You have a wonderful day.

Continue to live in your fantasy world if you like, but the bad truckers are insane maniacs and a large percentage of the rest tailgate unsafely, given the huge discrepancy of their stopping time vs. the stopping time of any average passenger vehicle. ABQ car drivers are granny drivers compared to the Phoenix drivers I spent 20 years driving with - but the truckers here are seriously scary. Whether it's crazy speeding in unsafe conditions or tailgating so close that they'd have difficulty stopping safely in the event of an emergency if they were driving a Corvette, never mind a giant semi with a trailer, the bad truckers are a menace. And oh yes, when my car get wrecked last year on I-40, it was when a tailgating, inattentive truck driver smashed up two cars because he failed to notice that traffic was slowing down - because of a huge multi-car accident caused, so I was told, by a tailgating semi truck up ahead. I don't know about the car that got plowed into mine, but I didn't cut off anyone - I hadn't changed lanes in 20 miles. Afterward, I really began to notice how astonishingly close many truckers choose to drive behind cars. I'm not talking about times when a car has changed into their lane, I'm talking about truck drivers intentionally placing themselves in situations in which they cannot possibly stop fast enough should the car in front of them have to stop. FIRST OF ALL YOU ARE OFF-TOPIC, SECOND THIS IS ABOUT A MAN WHO WAS KILLED DRIVING A SEMI, HE WAS NOT SPEEDING NOR TAILGATING ANYONE, WAKE UP SMELL THE COFFEE AND GET A GRIP. THERE ARE MORE 4 WHEELERS THAT CAUSE ACCIDENTS THAN TRUCK DRIVERS. YES WE DO HAVE FEW SMALL MINDED UNDER AGE TRUCK DRIVERS ON THE HIGHWAYS NOW DAY'S BUT DO NOT BLAME THEM ALL. THERE ARE MORE VERY GOOD TRUCK DRIVERS OUT THERE THAN BAD!!! YES I SHOULD KNOW BECAUSE I DROVE A SEMI MYSELF FOR FIVE YEARS AND I STILL HAVE A CLEAN RECORD. HAVE SOME COMPASSION FOR THE FAMILY THAT JUST LOST A LOVED ONE.........
